Multimedia Health Messages is single semester elective course offered to 8th graders. It was initially funded in 1997 by a grant from the Lexington Education Foundation. It is now in its fourth year with enrollment increasing from 12 the first year, to over 100 students this year.

Students utilize the computer programs: "Hyperstudio", "Adobe Photodeluxe", "Adobe Photoshop", and "Kaboom Factory" and "Smartsound" to create multimedia presentations displaying health messages to other groups of students. Besides the use of computers, the students also utilize scanners, digital cameras, and digital video cameras to enhance their projects.
